The big news to come out of last week was that the N95 has a built in accelerometer which isn’t really used within the feature set. We’re soon going to see an updated version of ‘Rotate Me’ that’ll allow you to switch the orientation of you view just by moving the handset (take that iPhone!). Check out this video to watch it in action.
Then we saw the Rolling Ball app coming out of Nokia Research. Pretty cool stuff. Mark at the Nokia Blog has created a demo video showing it in action. Click here to check out the video.
Dr. Jukka , creator of Y-Browser and Y-Tasks amongst others, has created an Inclinometer for the N95. I tried to make a video using it driving, but trying to drive while holding one phone filming was A) incredibly difficult and B) breaking a few UK driving laws so I had to create a short demo of me using it in the kitchen. Not really what it supposed to do, but you get the idea.

I also wrote an application using N95’s accelerometer for capturing images. The purpose is to reduce the chance of getting a blurry image on your phone. See: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DRcRRZ65Fno
