One of the things that bugged a lot of N95 users was that you couldn’t end a call by closing the slider. You can answer them by opening it, but not end them. What sense does that make?

Well according to Darla Mack that function has been added to the N81, a lower spec handset that the N95. It’s also still not on the N95 8gb variant. Why Nokia, why? Hopefully this feature will return in the next firmware update.
